Dance Floor

There are two dancefloors for all solo, duo and small group competitions. There is one dancefloor for formations and production.

Enter (right side). All dancers meet on the right side of the dance floor (looking from the tribunes). In case that assistance is needed, our security will guide you to the correct side.

Exit (left side), All dancers leave the dancefloor to the left and exit to the backstage area.

start time

Please make sure all dancers are ready and in full costume at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start. The given times are approximate and subject to change. The hosts will call participants only once!


Every contestant will get a certificate including the ranking approximately within 90 minutes after elimination. Please see staff members at the check-in counter in the entrance hall of the venue.

Certificates are the official proof of ranking (Finalists will get the certificates at the winner’s ceremony) and given only to the Team-Captains.


The official IDO language is English. Therefore, the whole competition will be hosted in English language. This includes all communication or any written information.

We will organize an “All you can Eat” buffet for dancers, trainers and officials. It will be offered for a price of about 8,50 € with something to drink and for 7,50 € without. There will be a warm lunch and a warm dinner as well as a cold dinner available. The cold dinner will be about 5,00 €.

To get a ticket for the meals you have to preorder them!!!!!

We will put on this page a pre order formula for all trainers and officials of the countries to pre order the tickets.

Please understand that it will be not possible to buy the ticket day by day when you are in Graz. We would like to offer good quality for a good price, therefore we have to manage everything in advance!!!!

Backstage Area

For security reasons, only dancers, backstage pass holders and press will have access to backstage areas.


Please make sure team members are wearing the wristband at all times. Access to the venue without wristband will not be granted. In case of removal or loss, team members will have to buy a ticket at the ticket counter at their own expense

Winner Ceremony

The price giving ceremony will take place after the finals. All finalists will be honored with a medal and 3rd to 1st place with a trophy.

Team Captain’s Contacts

Team captains will be asked to leave their cell phone number while checking in. This is in case that the organization team will have to inform you about possible time changes or any issues concerning a team or team members.
